What are cookies?

Cookies are small files your browser stores when you visit a website. They help the site work, remember your choices and tell us how the site is used.

Cookies we use

These are the cookies we found being set on aidailyshift.com when we last checked (27 October 2026):

  • Essential: cf_clearance (Cloudflare, up to 1 year). Confirms your browser has passed Cloudflare’s security check so the site can protect itself from bots.
  • Essential: cookieyes-consent (CookieYes). Remembers your cookie choices.
  • Analytics: _ga and _ga_EWN2X9NZKB (Google Analytics via Google Site Kit, about 13 months). Count visits and show which pages are read.
  • Analytics: _gcl_au (Google tag, 90 days). Set by the Google tag that Site Kit adds.
  • Newsletter: sib_cuid (Brevo, about 6 months). Brevo’s tracker, used with our newsletter sign-up.

Site staff who log in to WordPress also get WordPress login cookies. Readers don’t need an account.

Other services on the site

  • Cloudflare Turnstile (advertising enquiry form) and Google reCAPTCHA (contact form) check that a form is filled in by a person, not a bot.
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits without using cookies.
  • AddToAny share buttons load from AddToAny’s servers.
  • Banner ads are shown by our own site using the AdRotate plugin. It did not set any cookies when we checked.

Affiliate links

Some articles include affiliate links from Amazon Associates, Impact and the Hostinger referral programme. If you click one, that company may set cookies on its own website to record that you came from AIDailyShift, so any sale can be credited to us. This doesn’t change the price you pay.

Your choices

When you first visit, our CookieYes banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time through the CookieYes cookie settings on the site.
